Today, the English Department hosted an inspiring author visit from Owen Sheers. A captivating discussion unfolded about Skirrid Hill, the poetry collection studied by our A level English Literature students, and Sheers' novel Resistance. Adding to the excitement, 11 German students, led by their teacher Daniel Buck, joined us. Daniel, an Erasmus exchange alum, expressed his enthusiasm about returning to both Wales and Howell's. A day filled with literary exploration and cultural connections!
