For the academic year 2023/24, the Howell’s Co-Ed College fees are:

Annual

£16,302

Termly

£5,434

Monthly

£1358.50

Our fees include non-residential curriculum trips and many activities as part of the co-curricular programme.

There may be further charges for external exams and some co-curricular activities, such as additional music lessons, extra coaching and residential curriculum trips.

Payment of fees

Fees must be paid by the Bank Direct Debit system. The form can be obtained from our Admissions Officer or GDST Head Office. Fees are paid annually or termly in advance or in twelve monthly instalments, four per term.

Public Examination Fees

From the summer 2024 examination season, the cost of public examination entry will be applied to all students.

This will be a transparent additional charge for the actual cost of the number and type of subjects being sat at GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A-levels, tailored for each student. Currently the typical range is between £350 to £500 for A-level students. We will be in contact during the spring term before the student’s exams with a statement of exams entered and their associated costs.

Recipients of a means-tested bursary will not be required to pay exam fees if they receive an award of 50% or higher, with a pro-rata reduction applied in-line with their assessed award for those on lower award levels.

Registration and Entrance Examination fees

A non-returnable registration fee of £150 is charged for the College and £200 for all overseas applicants.

On accepting a place, a fee of £750 is payable, which is retained as a deposit and returned after the student’s final term. This deposit is forfeited if the place is not taken up.
