On Saturday 12th March, Year 13's Issy L-J and Fiona W travelled to Oxford to take part in the prestigious Oxford Schools Debating finals after being selected from the regional South Wales round.
Students travelled from 4 continents to be there and came from as far away as Canada, Zimbabwe, Hong Kong & Singapore. They debated 4 separate motions including:

Issy and Fiona met up with Ayesha Ali who is studying medicine at University College Oxford. Last year Ayesha and partner Frances Douglas Thompson were members of the Welsh Debating Team. Ayesha has continued to debate at Oxford and was the Convenor (organiser) of the South Wales regional debate. Ayesha took Issy and Fiona on a tour of her college.
