We are absolutely delighted that Elizabeth W (Class of 2020) has been offered a Degree Apprenticeship at the world renowned investment bank JP Morgan. Many congratulations and good luck, Elizabeth.
This is what she had to say about the opportunity:
“I have accepted employment with JP Morgan and will be based at their London headquarters. My new position is on their fast track programme as a Degree Apprentice. My employment follows a gruelling process with 6,000 other hopefuls who also started with an initial telephone interview which followed by three separate assessment days at their London office over a three month period.
I will be working as part of their top team of investment bankers, working with real world projects from their headquarters in Canary Wharf, known as the financial hub for Europe. Alongside work I will be completing my BSc in Applied Finance at Exeter University as distance learning and level 4 investment operations, all fully funded by JP Morgan. I am thrilled to have this amazing opportunity and can’t wait to start the next exciting chapter of my life. Thank you so much to all the staff at Howell’s who gave me support during my 4 years and achieving my A level results which has greatly assisted me with where I am today: on the cusp of starting my new life!”
