On the evening of Monday 18th October, A-level Business students Georgia K and Lucy T (both in Year 13), accompanied by Miss Roberts, were delighted to attend Cardiff Business Club’s dinner and lecture at the Hilton Hotel in Cardiff. The evening began with a drinks reception before guests made their way to the ballroom where they enjoyed an interesting lecture given by Andrew Davies, Chief Executive of Kier Group. Kier Group is a British construction, services and property group active in building and civil engineering, support services, and the Private Finance Initiative. Everyone then enjoyed a delicious three course dinner. We are extremely grateful to alumna, Mrs Sue Shepherd, who so generously supported the girls to attend the evening and help develop their networking skills.
