Year 12, accompanied by Dr Lewis and Miss Toy, had a fantastic day at Cardiff University immersed in 'Hands On' Chemistry. Students learnt about organic synthesis in the morning, followed by titrations in the afternoon. They were also fortunate to have a tour of the NMR room. The students thoroughly enjoyed the day, honed their practical skills and learnt about careers in Chemistry.
