Mr Smith studied Mathematics at the University of Manchester, where he also obtained his PGCE. He is currently the Head of Mathematics and Deputy Director of the College. Before joining Howell's, he taught at a large comprehensive school, where his passion for passing on his enthusiasm and love for Mathematics flourished. His responsibilities include monitoring achievement, attainment, and attendance and leading a highly successful department. Outside of work, Mr Smith is an avid cyclist and enjoys spending time outdoors with his beloved dog. He is the proud father of two young sons.
