Last Friday, our Rotary Interact presidents, Akanksha S and Megan V, Year 13, were invited to join a special St David’s Day breakfast hosted by the Rotary Club of Cardiff Breakfast at Whitchurch Golf Club. This was a prestigious event, with representatives from Rotary Clubs in the Cardiff area, as well as Rotary Interactors from local schools. Alongside fundraising for the ‘End Polio Now’ campaign, music played a big part of the event and included a rousing performance by Whitchurch Primary School’s Choir and a harp recital. This was Akanksha and Megan’s last official engagement as Howell’s Rotary Interact Presidents and they were presented with a £40 donation to give to a charity of their choice.
