PWC Flying Start Programme

PWC Flying Start Programme

On the afternoon of Friday 7th February, a group of Co-Ed College students attended an interesting PriceWaterhouseCoopers’ event. At the beginning of the afternoon, they were given a talk from Ellie, aged 19, who is taking part in their Flying Start Programme, which gives students the opportunity to work part time at PricewaterhouseCoopers while studying for a degree at university. She discussed how she got in to working in the accountancy practice and the many benefits the course offers. Throughout the day, many helpful questions were asked, which led to very supportive answers. The remainder of the afternoon saw them taking part in an interactive workshop, during which they were randomly put into groups with students from other schools and one of the tasks involved helping to advertise Generation Medicine's work experience opportunities. An excellent afternoon was had by all.
