Congratulations to Howell’s alumna Lily Eckersley-Jones, who has been named this week by the Observer and Guardian as one of the country's prize- winning New Radicals who are making the world a better place. She co-founded a new international lifeboat charity called Atlantic Pacific, providing a Lifeboat in a Box—a 12 metre shipping container kitted out with a rigid-hulled inflatable boat, a maintenance workshop and changing room—to coastlines where no adequate lifeboat service exists. .
