On Monday 17th December, the Great Hall was once again transformed into a sophisticated cocktail lounge for our sixth Cocktails at Christmas event for Hywelians. It gets more popular every year and this time we had a record turnout of more than 120 alumni between ranging in age from 18 to a very sprightly 91 joining us, along with current and former staff. As well as the customary cocktails we introduced a gin bar which was a real hit with guests. There was a definite buzz and much laughter in the room as people caught up over cocktails and nibbles, provided by our unbeatable catering team. The evening culminated with a fabulous festive performance from our Performing Arts Group. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a special occasion.
