On Tuesday 9th October, college students were joined by Lucy Jenkins, the National Coordinator for Mentoring in Modern Foreign Languages at Cardiff University, for the launch of this year's Howell's Co-Ed College Lecture Programme. In a very informative and inspirational speech she spoke about her Modern Foreign Language Mentoring Programme, along with the importance of learning languages and combining languages with a range of different disciplines at university. She also discussed the year abroad and students were able to ask a range of interesting questions. It really was an insightful evening and a great launch to this year's schedule of lectures.
